The greatest fulfilment of Biblical prophecy for 2000 years is taking place before the eyes of the world, yet this generation cannot see it. Why? The Bible contains more prophecies relating to the restoration of the kingdom of Israel and the regathering of the Hebrew nation than it does foretelling the Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus), yet we hardly hear it spoken about in our churches. Why?

Was it just an act of man or even a coincidence that in 1948, the nation of Israel was reborn after 2,500 years? We simply need to turn to the prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel) to see God declaring He would do just this in the final days! Since the creation of the state of Israel 3,000,000 Jews have returned from the four corners of the earth to live in Israel (referred to as Aliyah, in Hebrew). Many have come from Russia and the fSU, lands directly north of Israel, which is exactly as it was foretold by Jeremiah! (Jer 16:15) Israel is a flourishing nation and all of this is happening just as scripture says it will. (Isa 61:4)

In spite of this, most Christians today believe that Israel and the Jewish people have no significance in God’s plans and resign their place to that of history and ancient stories.

Knowing how the kingdom and people of Israel fit into to the plans of Almighty God is key to understanding His character and His relationship with us as individuals. It will change the way we read the Holy Scriptures and give richer depth and understanding. It will also have a profound effect on how we view world events as they unfold around us.

Understanding God’s heart for Israel is just the beginning! Once God has given you this revelation, it’s time to recognise the exciting call He has made to the nations to be His tool for bringing His covenant people home (Isa 49:22). We all have a part to play in the eternal plans of Almighty God!

Why does God do this? Why restore Israel? Why regather the Hebrew nation? Because He said that He would. His reputation is on the line. (Ezk 36:22)

We know God always fulfils His promises otherwise he would be a liar. If He would break His covenant with Israel, what would stop Him breaking covenant with the gentile believers? God does not break covenant.

Engage Israel

We are a branch of Ebenezer Operation Exodus, a Christian Ministry that helps the Jewish People to make Aliyah. Our mission is to reach current and future generations with the message of God’s heart for Israel and Aliyah. Through teaching in the nations and trips to Israel we aim to impart an understanding of these Biblical truths to a generation that are otherwise unaware. Through these means Engage:Israel hopes to see a generation raised up who has a comprehensive understanding of the Scriptures, who are strengthened through knowing the roots of their faith, and who are ready to take a stand in the name of the one true and Almighty God.

Foundational Scriptures

Jer 16:15 “but, ‘The Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.”

Isa 49:22 “Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations, And set up My standard for the peoples; They shall bring your sons in their arms,
And your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders;”
