Journey with us to Moldova, in the former Soviet Union, and be a part of the work of Ebenezer sharing God’s message of restoration with the Jewish people.
As part of a small team you will:

  • Visit Jewish people in their homes and discover what it means to be a “fisherman” (Jer. 16:16)
  • Learn about the history of Jews in Moldova.
  • Be taught how to talk to Jewish people.
  • Bring food and assistance to families in need(Isa. 40:1)
  • Share the ancient prophecies and message of God’s promise of restoration.
  • Be part of the miracle(Isa. 49:22)

Is this for you?

If you are between 18 and 35+ and you feel a strong calling to the work of aliyah and want to explore further, then this is for you. You will be expected to personally interact with Jewish people in their homes and explain the work of Ebenezer.
This will be the best way to test your calling and conviction.

When is the trip?

The trip is planned to take place from the 8th to the 15th of October, but it is organised on a demand basis. That is to say, we run it according to the interest that is shown. If you would like to be considered for our next visit then please register your interest through the link.

How much?

$500 + flights.
The main cost of the trip is $500USD. This covers all land fees - accommodation, food and land travel.
Flights are not included. Once you have been accepted as a participant, you will be requested to book your own flights.

Sample Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Afternoon arrival into Chisinau airport, Moldova. Travel to accommodation and visit to supermarket to purchase food for the week.

Day 2: Shop for food parcels and travel to the town of Balti. Visit the Chesed centre for an early Shabbat meeting. Team members share about the work of Ebenezer as well as the current situation regarding the increase in anti‐Semitic activity in their respective home nations. Visits made to Jewish homes, delivering food parcels and sharing about aliyah.

Day 3: Tour local sites and memorials, learning of the history of the Jewish people in the region, including the progroms and the Holocaust.

Day 4: Travelled to Benderi Prayer House Faith and Mercy in Transnitsria, a Russian speaking Christian congregation. Bring teaching and testimonies about the Scriptures with regard to the aliyah during the morning worship service.

Day 5: Fishing and delivering food parcels in the town of Soroca. Meet with several Holocaust survivors.

Day 6: Fishing and delivering food parcels in the city of Chisinau.

Day 7: Fishing and delivering food parcels in the town of Dubosary in Transnistria. Meet with the leader of the Jewish community and visited the Jewish memorial.

Day 8: Early afternoon departure from Chisinau airport.
